At Younity, I feel like I’m with family and with hope for a better tomorrow. Here, I have been given refuge from my pain and my fear. Each counseling session has helped me more and more. Thank you for giving me protection, trust, and security.

The shelter was a godsend to me. I felt safe, protected, understood, listened to, and supported. The facility is so comfy and feels likes home.

Counseling and group discussions have been instrumental in helping me to cope, grow, and learn about the difficulties I’ve encountered in life.

In counseling I learned coping skills, to love myself more, and to set boundaries.

I learned a lot of ways to identify a healthy relationship. I learned about the abnormal thoughts that were created by my abuser.
