Womanspace has launched the Womanspace Healthcare Initiative. Its goal is to provide education and tools to healthcare professionals in Mercer County so that they are empowered to consistently and effectively screen potential victims, and to build partnerships with healthcare systems within Mercer County.
Through experience and research, we know that properly trained doctors and nurses are uniquely qualified to help battered women, who see them for both routine and emergency care.
