Response Teams of Mercer County: Providing Immediate Support to Victim-Survivors in Crisis
At Younity, our Response Teams of Mercer County offer critical, immediate support to victim-survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault. Trained volunteer advocates are dispatched to police stations and hospitals to provide in-person emotional support and connect victim-survivors with necessary resources. Our advocates work alongside Mercer County law enforcement, medical professionals, and local agencies to ensure that victim-survivors receive compassionate care during their most difficult moments, helping them navigate options for immediate safety and care.

The presence of a trained advocate provides reassurance and resources necessary for immediate safety while laying the foundation for long-term healing. Each year, our Response Teams offer crisis intervention to hundreds of victim-survivors, ensuring they receive support during their most vulnerable times.
