Womanspace’s First Annual No Show Event!

What if we asked you to stay in your coziest pajamas or yoga gear, no need to shower or put on make up and no need to hit the gym to fit into your dress, since the quarantine 10 is not going anywhere fast?

Well, we are asking you to do just this! Womanspace cordially invites you to our First Annual No Show Event on August 15, 2020. Entrance fee is whatever you can donate and attendance is strictly forbidden. While everyone has been quarantining, we have continued to run our 24/7 safe house along with our transitional housing, and three hotlines. Our counselors have been working with their clients and are already back at the office.

Unfortunately, we have had to reschedule our Annual Barbara Boggs Sigmund Awards Event for the second time to May 2o, 2021. Due to this postponement, there is a large deficit in our budget that our First Annual No Show Event will hopefully recover. What sounds better than NOT going to an event, and not having to figure out what to wear, who is going to watch the kids and uh oh, the gym still isn’t open.

Click on this link from now until August 15th, the day of the nonevent and give what you can in order to not have to leave the house!

Hope to NOT see you there! Stay healthy, safe and cozy.

Best,

Womanspace

UPDATE: Barbara Boggs Signmund Award Event Postponed

Dear All,

We continue to work in unprecedented times. COVID-19 has changed the world as we know it, and we are all still learning to adapt to this new reality. As we continue to listen to the expert’s recommendations, we at Womanspace know we must do our best for the health and wellness of our community.

The 26th Annual BBS Award Event was previously rescheduled for October of this year (2020). However, we do not feel that it would be wise, or safe, to host such a large gathering in the not so distant future. For the good of everyone, we have chosen to further postpone our 26th BBS Award Event. The new date for BBS will be Thursday, May 20th, 2021 at the Princeton Marriott, honoring Elizabeth Smart.

As stated before, if you have already gotten tickets or done a sponsorship, there is no need to worry – they will automatically apply to the new date. Unfortunately, we are unable to give refunds. If you are unable to attend the new date you can use the price paid as a donation, share them with a friend, or donate them back to Womanspace for our clients to use.

As we finalize the details for the new date, we will reach out and share more information with you. We encourage you to follow our website, Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter pages for updates.

At Womanspace, we are always here for you. Should you have administrative questions, please respond to this email or email us at info@womanspace.org. For emergencies, we are available 24/7 via our hotlines, local 609-394-9000; statewide 800-572-SAFE. For specific questions regarding our services, contact our hotlines. Your call will be answered by an experienced and trained Womanspace staff member.

Be on the lookout for our next upcoming event, Womanspace’s First Annual No Show Event on August 15th, 2020, where attendance is strongly forbidden.

Warm regards and please stay safe!
